Want to write the thoughts that linger in my heart,
But the words are breaking me apart.
The pain and the sorrow rips through me,
Like a ship crashes through the sea.

You've always let me down;
Suffocated me until I drowned.
You've hurt me and bruised me;
Screamed and yelled; even swore at me.
But I'm still blind; still I cant see.

Sure I miss you every now and then,
But I cant keep wondering when.
Sure it hurt when I let you go
But I'm not going to let the pain show.

Take two steps forward,
Only to take one back.
But I'm still infront;
I'm still the lead.

Paths collide at unexpected moments.
They crash and they form.
They overlap then break away.
I guess that's how the story should stay.
