	The Ritual

	The rules of ritual should be taken seriously. The reason being that if you have interruptions, or find you have been ill prepared, then the chances of you keeping your state of self hypnosis is vastly reduced So keeping that in mind set up you're tools and gadgets prior to you're meditation. Now you're probably all expecting a run down of a ritual here but that's not going to happen. If you look back at previous chapters you will remember that there is a large quantity of free will going on here. Who am I to tell you how to run a ritual after all I don't know you or your comfort zones. Hell I could have suggested an elaborate enochian sex magick ritual and left about 99.9% of readers looking nervous. I will make a few points though. 1.Keep it serious don't goof around. This will cause you to lose focus. 2.Try not to read from a book or print out during the ritual. If you have to however use parchment or whatever else would suit the ritual. 3.Know you're pronunciations. There's nothing worse than stumbling over a word in an incantation. 4.Dress up. Hey it's an event make it real and don't be shy. Get the robes and cowls out. 5.Lighting is important. Set the scene. Candles or if you're a technomage Neon. It will help get you in the right frame of mind. 6.Music is you're friend. But remember keep it instrumental to avoid distraction oh and no 10 Min guitar solos...they just suck. 7.Use incense to create mood. It smells nice and the smoke adds to the atmosphere. 8.Work with others if you can. It makes the whole thing way more dramatic. A coven is like a self help group. Or an AA meeting depending on the people. Basically keep it real and full of drama. Think of all the old horror and fantasy movies you've seen. Remember you're not going for an Oscar. All you need to do is convince yourself. On a further and important note always have you're statement of intent 100% down before you start anything. By this I mean know what you want and do not deviate from it.
