Not knowing


Looking in the mirror,
I don’t know who I see.
Looking and not knowing,
This person once was me.

Staring into my own eyes,
Not knowing what is there.
Wondering should I know
or, should I even care.

Its amazing what this feeling does.
It can make me feel this way.
I’m truly happy these last few weeks,
For me that’s strange to say.

Its not hard to have,
Just hard to hold on too.
I’ve had some days, some weeks of this
But still had all too few.
