	Wind me in, here's the dream, shattered pieces, fleeting free round about the before when, our last meeting lonely friend sat beside that sea bleached rock, hands held tight…. Forget me not I did my best of course I did I wound it in and held it close But that my friend was just because the shattered pieces blew from me climbed the waves back out to sea I motioned you back but you were gone So now I sit broken….worn. Forget me not.. forget me not. I saw a man all dressed in black, I asked him why, he didn’t look back I turned my head the other way and watched the crimson shades of gray It scares me now it really does if we were them and they were us It almost takes my breath away to stand so lost without the key You were outside and I was in but we shared a look of next of kin We whispered wishes through sad eyes, they moved the darkness through the skies. I guess it’s all just make believe and I was lost amid the trees, the dreams, the hopes the wishes too A liquid thought from me to you. So now you are gone I rant and rage so many voices fill my head So many whispers steal my mind, so many voices, cruel, unkind Too many shadows claw me back as I wander lost, outside my heart I only see a veil of fog as you whisper my name in the dark Your tears are falling as I weep .We are lost my friend now... let’s sleep...
