	Second Star to the Right: Across the deep vastness, And inexplicable wonder of space. When morning comes There is a place of fantasy A place of peace Where you will always feel young And your heart is light You are at peace. NeverLand Sometimes troubles arise And pirates threaten the fragile world But love and friendship always prevail And return the land to peace. It’s a place I long to be now As I the work of the earth drags on And I tire of my daily grind I know the way there But for now I’m waiting. For to reach NeverLand I need two things The fiery dust, and presence Of a small friend of mine. And a simple happy thought. My little friend is away for now. Her pretty face, and cute, flirtatious smile Are locked in my memory. Dances and dresses Compliments and graces Broadway and village meadows. When she returns, Happy thoughts will not be hard to come by. I long for that day, Though I know it may never come. I long to leave this place And fly over the stars Past Orion and the moon With her by my side Yet I am content to wait, And see, indefinitely. Until she feels and knows the time is right For her return. If she does not return and it is not meant to be Then I shall cherish the memories even more And slowly move on my way. For now we do not know. Until that time I will wait Here on earth And In the meantime as I grow stronger I will dream Of NeverLand Of my friend Of the one I'm waiting for... The key to neverland.
