	Behold the castle: Ancient stones, Guarded by ancient stars Standing the last watch As the days slip away The ocean spray Mists the distant sea As rainbows dance on the wind The nights and days Pass unheeded And the wind and rain Wear the stones away. Centuries it stands against Defying all who oppose Standing tall, strong and again Against the dark. Against the world It stands against A last defender of hope And home. The grass grows And the seasons change Yet the stones retain their form And the guard remains at his post Slowly as time and fever burns As wars and battles rage As the seas boil, and the ground shakes Still the guard remains. Silent and solid Look now at the olden days Watch the solitary faces in the stone Watch the dancing figures Memories and memoirs. From another time. Caught here in this place In a moment All there, then gone Stand and watch As the place looks back at you. Stand and watch. Behold a castle. Behold a sentinel Behold an elder Behold Dunluce.
