	A wilting rose

	"Hello?" Her soft whisper permeated the dark silence. The other end of the phone was silent. "hello?" "I'm Sorry," a gruff voice came from the the other end. "Rose, please come home. We haven't seen you in such a long time. We've already lost one child, we don't want to lose another." A hint of tears were in here father's voice. Rose's heart broke. She truly did miss her parents, but she didn't know if she could go back. She truly felt lost. Her pain was still in full gear, not ever wanting to heal. " I'm sorry too Daddy," her voice was full of emotion,"I'll come home as soon as possible. bye Daddy." She gently put the phone back in it's cradle. So, she was going home.Her thoughts wandered to Kris. He brought a smile to her face. He was so perfect. Nothing could ever go wrong. Not unless..."Rose!" His voice broke through her thoughts. The look on his face told her something was definitely not right.
