| Opening my eyes to the blinding light was all I could bare. The red dawn was shining in the window and sent a chill down my spine as my mind flashed back to the old horison before the War. The sun peeking in and a blue heaven above mankind. Not anymore. Animals rustled the grass but I didn't pay much attention. I'd got to used to the outback. Only when a shadow fell upon the tent, did panick set into me. I thought to myself; It's too early for them. They never rise until after 10...but ever since the sky had lost its sun, you could never tell the time. The rustling got louder. I turned around and aimed a gun at the nearest sound. Only then did I advance till over the hill top. | |||
