Earths Epilogue

April 26th, 3837, A.E (After Earth)

The Earth is dying. The Sun is burning out. The moon colonies are no longer vacant. Each Mars project is one failure after the next. The human race has only one choice: to abandon the system.

Yet where would we go? What would happen to our former home? Would we simply float around space as drifters? Searching for a new planet, a new home. That’s how everything seemed to be turning out, until that fateful day came...

Upon the explosion of atomic mass, somewhere just beyond the outer rim of the moon, three holes in space opened up. Scientists called them wormholes, but we called them 'gates', as each led to another galaxy different from the other.

Between these galaxies there were seven new planets in total. Whether they would harbor the correct atmosphere and properties for our fragile race was another story completely…

However, over time, only four planets between all three gates were found to be inhabitable. The first – the Unigate – contained one of these planets. The second – the Digate – contained two. The third – the Trigate – contained the last planet.

It is within the Trigate system that our story begins, on the lone plant of Gorneth, and the adventures that a-wait have already awoken. The first few colonies were sent from drifter ships to each of the new planets in the late 39th century. With each of them, they took the same knowledge, history and technology that were given to them from the Earth's last leaders. Future generations would need to know about their race’s former home, as Earth would always be apart of their history.

And so, a new era of the human race began…
