	Endless Fall
	Endless falling becomes endless fall, The leaves rain down, trees lose it all. They looked so strong until last fortnight, And now they’re buried to the reapers delight. The fall from grace It leaves a scar on the face. Even though the summer is still not gone, They shook in the wind – couldn’t hold on. I watched their colours flicker from young to gold, Now they’re scattered all crumpled and old. So now they’re scraped, piled high – dissected. Such reckless hurt I stand by and reflect it. Bare naked they stand – none now together, The early autumn storm love could not weather. Those evergreen trees, they all stand in rows. So strong, unbending – they cannot feel the sorrow. Always together – last year, today, and tomorrow. How the others died, the evergreen does not follow. The old trees are cut down, they cannot re-grow A new one will bloom and fill out this hollow. For now there is no dawn and darkness still holds on As endless falling becomes endless fall.
