|Let him live|
| Jon's blood seeps into my hand and runs down my leg as I sit there, praying for a miracle. "It- it'll be ok little Jon," I stammer as tears fill my eyes. "I'm your sister, and every-everything will be ok." I see a tear run down Jon's face as he begins to speak.|
"I beleive in you.. I beleive," he pants as he falls into a sleep. I shake him lightly, and say, "You're ok Jon, c'mon, get up and play like you always do." I begin to beleive he's ok, but I know I'm lying. I struggle to my feet and run to the bathroom. From there I grab a cloth and a wet rag. A string from my shoe becomes my hope to tie them together. Suddenly I realize, life is the most longest thing anyone can own. If life collapses when you are twelve, you never get to see anything ever. You can only imagine. See from the heavens.
I practically whisper, "Mother has lied. Jon can never be a baseball player. He will never be rich. I will never be worthless. I am not worthless. I am me. And right now, I'm going to save my brother's life."
