The Beauty of One Rose

The Beauty of One Rose

Your beauty and grace have cast a spell on me,
I’m long to be with you and you with me; for only together are we happy.
For you are like an angel in human form,
When I am away from you my heart is torn.
For even when we are apart,
I shall love you with all my heart.

Insight into the poem:

The title of this poem, The Beauty of One Rose, has a deeper meaning than just being the title. It expresses in a way that one doesn’t need a big poem to impress a person. Also that sometimes it is best to use fewer words, and that those fewer words can mean a lot more than many words. And although this poem does not mention roses, sometimes one rose is more beautiful that a dozen roses, meaning that this small poem is as nice as or nicer than as a longer poem just like it.
