So Confused
 
Melaine blew her nose loudly on her soggy tissue. She was in a filthy state. Her eyes were sore and puffy. She felt like her life was over. She had lost the love of her life and she had destroyed a possible friendship. After she left Kaiden’s house she took a pitt stop at the off license and bought the strongest alcohol she could posess. She began drinking the unknown spirit dutily. She cried tears as she swigged the drink which burned her throat so severly. Her life was over.

KayCi gasped when she saw the familiar faces at the door. It was her brother Kamron and her sister Cass.
“Oh. My. God. What are you two doing here?” KayCi was delighted to see them. Throughout these weeks that she had been in another country suprisingly she never forhot home. The roast that her mum used to cook the fun her and her siblings would have playing catch or the ddeep conversations they would have about life. All in all she missed home(not enough to go back though). She still couldn’t forget the bad things and that’s what kept her determined to make a new life in the U.S.
“We won a trip to America on the radio and we decided what a better time than to come and see you.” Cass said. KayCi ushered them in the apartment and sat them down in the living room.
“Nice apartment Kay”
“Thanks, it was designed by someone and lucky for me they left me a good apartment and a few amenities.
“Hows things going with you anyway and you have to tell me everything I need to report back to mum she is dying to know what’s going on in your life”
“Well I got a job as a receptionist and that’s pretty much it really”
“Hows Mel. I bet she is gorgeous”
“She is and you never guess who her ex is “
“Who” her sisters eyes were practically bulging with curiosity
“Kaiden”
“Who the hell is Kaiden?” her brother said
“You remember Kaiden the one I was in love with in secondary school who moved over here”
“Oh yeah! That must have been a shock” her sister said
“It was especially when he was the first person I met when I got here” KayCi went on to explain the whole story in detail. Cass and Kamron gasped when she told them about Melanie’s deciet.
“So what is he going to do now” Cass asked
“I really do not know hunny” KayCi replied suddenly tired
“KayCi how did you manage to mess up things here too this was supposed to be a fresh start” Cass asked
“I know” she said quietly. KayCi began to cry. She put her head in her hands in sheme.
“KayCi”
“I don’t know what to do Cass. Nothing is working out like I planned. What do I have to do to fit in. I have no place at home and no place here. I don’t belong anywhere” KayCi cried. Kamron stood and put his arm around her. Gave her shoulders a little shake and said:
“Don’t talk like that KayCi you are making a mountain out of a moehill. Its all just a nasty coincedence. I know it seems bad but if you stick to your guns and stick by your decision to make a better life. Don’t give up so easily. I know you better than that.”
"When so many things are against me. How am I supposed to stick to my guns?”
“No-one said moving to America would be easy. But when you get to the dream that you wanted you feel its all worth but you won’t get if you give up. A wise girl who moved away from me said that to me and I thought I’ll give it back to her when she needed and I will promise to always be there for you whenever you. You said you’ll die for me now I want you to live for me. So wipe your tears and stick your chin up and leave Kaiden and Melanie to their own problems” KayCi wiped her nose and tears on her sleeve.
“Thanks I really needed that. I’m a shit sister! I left you all by your own and yet still you’re the ones fixing my problems. Tell me how things are for you at home. I’m sorry I’ve been so neglectful, I thought I have no responsibillites but I do and I’m sorry I wasn’t there”
“Your not a shit sister. We don’t expect you stay with us forever we have realised you have a life of your own” Cass said gently
“Come on Kamron tell me anything bugging. Gist me” she laughed at the fact she hadn’t talked to people she loved for so long.
“Nothing much. I’ve moved in with Katy”
“Isit how are things and how is she?”
“Well, I havent told anyone yet but she is pregnant”
“What!” KayCi was shocked
“She told me two days before I left”
“What are you going to do?” KayCi said
“The way it’s looking we might keep it but we still have a lot to talk about so don’t get ahead of yourself with going shopping for the baby and don’t tell mum”
“I can’t she is the only person I gave my number and she hasn’t called me at all. I saved it in her phone so she hasn’t lost it”
“She mightn’t have had the time” Kamron said
“Yeah probally” KayCi said not believing that was the reason “What about you Cassandra Joy Calisto”
“I hate my full name it’s so ugly. Nothing new for me” Cass answered
“No boyfriend” KayCi said raising her eyebrows
“Nope but there is this really cute guy in college that I’m in the process of chatting up” Cass gave a wink
“Atta girl” KayCi laughed “Gosh you two must be hungry, what you want to eat”
“Actually I hoping we’ll be allowed to take you out”
“Why not, let me just slip on something a little bit nicer. Kam your welcome to the t.v it’s got cable and Cass you can check out my wardope”
“Great soveniers!” Cass squeaked.
