| Bow Waves - Galway City's First Sailing School
Set up in 1996 by Finbarr O'Regan, Bow Waves has recently moved premises to become Galway City's first sailing school.
Running from our new base beside the site of the forthcoming marina in Galway Harbour Enterprise Park, practical courses take place from Galway Docks and on Lough Atalia.
Courses include Dinghy Sailing, Keelboat Sailing, Powerboating, and Sea Survival.

For the more skilled or adventurous sailor, we have a Topper Iso, sure to raise your heart rate and improve your skills.
We cater for Level 1 to Level 3 courses. |  | | Keelboat Sailing | | All keelboat courses are run in our purpose-built sail-training vessel ' Aoibhinn' , a 21 ft Mousketaire rescued from Glenans Sailing Club in Baltimore.
