i'm extremely glad the shining is on there...i was worried there'd be no stephen king at all! but if there's one book of his everyone should read, that's definitely it. and it's not horror, in my opinion, it's a tragedy.

This list is a shambles. It has fear and lothing in las vegas at number 644 or something nuts like that, when it should be in the top 50 at least, and it has pamela at number 24, a book thats so bad I read the first 86 pages and then threw it in the bin, a book that belongs in the top 50 on a list of the 1001 WORST books ever written. I'm hoping that these aren't in order of how good they are.
