	Hey! Here Is An Article From The Stabane Cronicle About Us! We Are Playing The Alley Theatre This Friday The 7th Of August! IT'S FREE AT THE DOOR ALSO! It Would Mean A Lot For You To Come Niamh McCourt, Jaséon Robinson, Conor O'Neil and Scott Walker make up Princess Alaska, a Derry based alternative punk/rock band. Formed in March this year, the guys have moved fast in writing their own material and finding and playing as many gigs as possible. They started out with the name Princess A La Ska but as the novelty wore off, they decided a more serious approach was required. Princess Alaska was born. We recently qualified for the BT Sounds Like Summer competition in Strabane which is a big deal for us right now and if we did win, it would mean so much because music is what we all want to do and it would be a great boost for us. "We are continuing to grow as a band and have a lot of fresh new material. Hopefully this time next year we will be quite well known in Derry and possibly the rest of Northern Ireland."
