	I finally got my ears pierced!!!! ^^ It was pretty much what I expected, which probably helped as I was expected pain, so when it happened I wasn't shocked. It was done with a gun, I know, I know, probably a bad decision, but it was alright - frickin hurt for a few seconds, then pretty much faded to no pain within an hour or two. It's been two days since I had it done, and it hadnt swelled or anything, so hopefully a good sign ^^ Thank you everyone who gave me encouragement ♥ ^^ Next I want right side of my lip. I have a fear of injections/needles, I hate them! ^.^ so lip will take a bit of encouragement, since i cant take the chicken way out and have the gun, aha ;D Any comments, aftercare tips, advice, etc, is hugely appreciated, especially from those who have had piercings before ^^ thankssss! xo

	I had my ear lobes done when I was about 11.. so can't remember them that well, but I don't think they hurt that much. (: It's just a bang and then it's over.. although i'd say get it done with a needle if you can (: I also have my scaffold and nose pierced, both with a needle. to pierce cartilage hurts more than fleshy parts but the main pain is with the insurtion of the jewelry and that is only a sharp pain that subsides within a few mins (: xxx

	Lets see if I can help =) I have my ears pierced and the left side of my lip x] I cant remember my ears cause it was soo long ago, I got the top of my ear pierced like 2 years ago, that didnt hurt, but u could hear the crunch, then about a year ago I got my lip pierced, that did hurt a lil, but its just like a pinch for 10ish seconds, then its over, but be careful when you get your lip pierced when you eat, because the bar can catch on your teeth, at the start that hurts abit, but your lip heals quite fast if u look after it (: hope I helped a lil ^^ xxxxx

	Gah, I'm exactly the same! I have my navel done twice & my ears done. My ears really didn't hurt at all, but with a gun it'd probably make you jump more & it'd be more painful. So needles are best (Y) Just take a deep breath in, the a deep breath out as the needle goes through and your done. :] Plus once its healed you can change jewlery, stretch etc :] With your lip I wouldn't know, but with the majority of people already having had it done I can't imagine in hurting too much. If they really did hurt no one would have them done, so go for it! :]

	I've got my ears done three times on each side, i have a spider bite and my bely done. I'd definately get your lip done first if you don't like pain because that didn't hurt as much as my ears did, it just bled whereas my ears ached for days! I know this isn't encouraging but its better to know what to expect. My belly hurt when i moved lol, But im used to pain now. another thing i'd say is that if you don't like pain asked to get it frozen or numbed but they sometimes for don't do it for lips, my friend found that taking a couple of paracetamols before she went to get her pericings done did the trick. so that might be useful. in the long run, my lip was probably the easiest and most pain free and nicest looking pericing, so i'd definately go for that first. (:

	i had my ears done a few years ago, and it took me like..half an hour of saying "yes..wait..no.." before the lady said look, if you dont have it done, now, youre going to have to come back tomorrow, so i just gripped tight to the chair, and guess what? it didnt hurt..now..whether that was down to gripping onto the chair..or it honestly didnt hurt..i dunno. salons arent supposed to use "guns" anymore, and they use these like..staplers if you like. it sounds scarier than it is, but i promise you that once its over, its aaaaall good ^-^. the worst thing about having your ears pierced is having to wash the pierced area with the anticeptic stuff, which they normally give you free, but you only have to use it 'till 6 weeks after, when you can change your earings! i wouldnt go to claires accessories to get it done, ive heard a lot of bad press, though my friend got her ears done there, and they were fine, yet my next door neighbour went to claires..and they got infected. good luck ^-^

	To be honest, I'd rather have the "gun", as I hate needles. I watched a little hair have her ears done in Claires, and the little click noise it made was so quiet, and it was so fast. The only thing I have against guns is that they're used on so many people and not washed properly so theres all kinda of infections on it. The new European law is that the old guns are illegal, and now the gun tip parts are disposable, so have to be changed after each piercing. Anyone had that used on them? It seems better!?

	I only had my lobes done last december, It was stingy and felt a bit hot, but not terribly painful. I had mine done will needles, not guns, guns can mess up the cartalidge in your ears, my piercer doesn't even like owning them. I also had my belly button done last october, hurt alot less than ears, without anything to numb it.

	Ooo also if you're getting your lip done, I'd recomend getting a ring as it hugs your lip, meaning it scrapes your teeth and gums alot less, lip piercings can cause teeth to fall out if they rub your gums too much. Use enamel strengthening toothpaste

	I got the guns your talking about used on my nose. I've had my ears pierced in total about 10 times, and the gun is absoloutely painless to me. Although, if your pain threshold is pretty weak then I'm not sure but honestly, I didn't feel a thing. x

	For my lip, I heard a ring is a bad idea at first, incase your lip swells, the ring can restrict and can dig in. I'd like a stud at first, but then I'd change it to a ring once its healed as I like rings more ^^

	awwwuh, your so cute abbie >.< ive got both sides of my lip, my septum, my tongue. a million in each ear my belly button the list goes on and on. the great thing about piercings is that once the needle part is over, its totally fine. like, i have a ton of piercings and 6 tattoos but everytime i geta new one of either i still have to syke myself up for it! just don't think about it too much, you already know what you want done. so just go onto a parlour and say it and get it! dont like give yourself time to be scared! thats what works for me :] xx

	If I were you I'd get it pierced with the 'gun'. It's faster and in my opinion much less painful. Just make sure that they are cleaned properly, go to a place that you trust. I must admit that you would look pretty foxy with a lip ring.

	When You Get Your Ears Done, You Can't Even Feel It At First, Then As The Day Goes On It Feels Like A Throbbing Sensation. It Doesn't Nessaserily Hurt, But It Does Get Irritating. And If You Want To Get Your Lip Done, Go To Somewhere That Numbs It First, Cause When I Got Mine Done, They Didn't Numb It, And Trust Me, It Hurts. x

	dont ever get a piercing numbed ive had 22 and the one i had numbed hurt the most because all of the nerve endings awaken and feel like delayed pain, piercings mrs zombie are fun xo

	That makes no sense, something numbed cannot hurt more, unless it was cheap-ass crap you tried to numb it with, lol >.< Roy has some great numbing stuff he had to use during some surgical procedures which completely numbed it, so when I get my ears done, I will use that! ^^

	I have no peircings either, I don't like the idea of getting my ears peirced though, I think if I was going to get peircings I'd skip the ears and get somewhere else done. I'd imagine peircings have very little pain, and if they do hurt the pain would only be for like a second. If it gets infected it'd probably hurt more but you're not that likely to get infected if you stick to safe places like ears or nose and keep it clean. As I say I've not got any pericings myself, but all my friends have them.

	Yay for Scar, were both pierce-free ^^ I've never been too keen on getting ears pierced, I hate ears - I have big ears so I've never wanted any attention drawn towards them. But as I've grown, they've seemed to flatten a bit ^^ I bought some black star ear studs, they're soo nice, as a little encouragement to get the piercing done. Everytime I see the ear studs, it makes me more determined to get it done (:
