The Kiserian Childrens Project The Kiserian Children’s Project aims to provide a quality standard of living and improved access to education as well as a safe and healthy environment for all those it cares for in St Joseph’s Orphanage in Tanzania. The project was set up by Dublin born Paul Carey. He worked with the administrator of the orphanage to provide the children of St Joseph’s Orphanage with more than a basic level of comfort. His vision was to give the children a secure safe place to live, learn and play. As of May last year the Kiserian Children’s Project became a registered charity. Last years event in Barcode, which was called PaulAid, raised over €14, 000. This money went to feeding, clothing and educating the children in St Josephs Orphanage as well as building a pre-school and a water storage system.
