GCSE’s: Maths, Science x3, French, Eng x2, Music and Information Systems
A Levels: Maths, Computing and Physics

What qualifications do you need for your job?
You’ll need a related degree – Game Design, Computer Science, Interactive Entertainment and a real passion for games. Experience counts for a lot too. Anything that can be demonstrated, like a mod for an existing game, will help show off your talents and desire to make it as a developer.

How much can I earn?
Graduates can earn up to £20,000 a year, which increases with experience. Salaries can also be supplemented with milestone bonuses and royalties from sales.

What other careers can Maths and Science lead to?
Maths and science can lead to all kinds of jobs, from cutting edge research into things like artificial intelligence and robotics, to more applied work like engineering. Though, with a good education, the sky’s the limit!

What advice can you give someone who wants to do your job?
Always remember it is possible to work in your dream job.
