	GLASVEGAS PLAYING ONE OFF DJ SET IN SPY AS PART OF THE STRICTLY HANDBAG 14TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS. On Monday the 27th October Glasvegas, are flying to Dublin with their record bags, for a special guest appearance at Strictly Handbag’s 14th Birthday Party in SPY - Dublin's longest running club night. Glasvegas have rewritten the rules on what an indie band should look and sound like and their debut album stormed straight in at the top of the charts. They harness the bleakly romantic spirit of their native Scotland, to wall of noise that would make the Jesus and Mary chain or The Velvet Underground proud. We eagerly await what rock n roll gems the boys will pull out when they get behind the decks. This show is the culmination of a long weekend of festivities celebrating Strictly Handbag's 14th Birthday, which also includes parties on Friday at Handbag in The Sugar Club and Saturday at Handbag in The Loft at The Purty kitchen Monkstown. Strictly Handbag has a new Monday night HQ, SPY on South William St. Once a hangout for the city's ruling classes and their new moneyed minions, Spy has recently been glamorously deconstructed, making it the city's most exiting and unpredictable club space. The action takes place over three levels with plenty of cozy corners for communing and canoodling. In short a perfect home for Strictly Handbag's unique brand of Monday night mayhem.
