	Hey folks, welcome back from mid-semester break. As you can see, we only have 6 weeks to go before the course is finished and there's still lots to do. Here's a list of things to keep you busy: Results for milestone 2 These are now available on Blackboard (go to the Assessment menu as usual). Note that as I totally forgot to send out a report for milestone 1, a combined one (two-for-the-price-of-one-deal) will be out before the week is over. Milestone 3 tasks I realise you've just caught your breath from the second milestone but now the third one is ready to go. Grant will discuss milestone 3 in detail at the lectures today and the tasks and materials will be available on Blackboard from 5:00pm onwards. See the next note about the submission date for this milestone. Calendar changes We adjusted the course calendar slightly (see Blackboard) to give an extra week for the class to complete milestone 3. Now this doesn't mean you can start later as this milestone is quite involved so I would recommend starting tonight . The changes include - swapping lab 9 with lab 10 and pushing back the submission date by one week. Lecturer appearances To clarify: Grant will lecture this week then me the next and then Grant again the following week right up till week 12, when I'll take over again on the Wednesday (1st October).
