	Craine formed in April 2006 in their hometown of Sheffield. After building a loyal Yorkshire fanbase the boys supported Rooster on their UK Tour in late 2006. This was followed by the band's growing myspace fanbase snapping up all 3,000 ltd copies of debut EP 'Treehouse Sessions' in 2 weeks flat. Gigs in 2007 took them all over the UK as the band starting getting label interest. In February 2008 with label interestbuilding up, the band split with drummer Jordan Osborn. With only a week before their label showcase jamming started with replacement Tom Stebbing who instantly fitted in with the band's sound. Tom played the showcase and a week later the band confirmed they had signed to Halo Records. The band released debut single 'End of the Line' in June 2008, (on download and limited edition CD) which entered at No 7 on the Radio 1 Official Indie Chart. The release was supported by a string of successful UK tour dates. In October 2008 as a thank you to loyal fans CRAINE released FREE DOWNLOAD track 'BROKEN STRINGS' which is still AVAILABLE NOW on www.myspace.com/craine1 due to huge demand. EXCLUSIVE!!! CRAINE release single 'Divine Intervention' on I-Tunes and all major download on March 30th 2009. Debut album 'Sleeping Vixen' will follow early April with the launch being held at 02 Academy Sheffield on Friday April 3rd. More details and UK dates to follow shortly!
