	Top model Suzanne McCabe is set to strip for PETA's first-ever Irish 'I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur' campaign. Following in the footsteps of Pamela Anderson, Christy Turlington and Sophie Ellis Bextor, the gorgeous Dubliner joins a long list of beauties who have bared all for a good cause. And the recently turned vegetarian, who hit the headlines earlier this summer after twice suffering from a collapsed lung, said she wasn't in the least bit shy about baring all for a good cause. The self-confessed animal lover (27) was approached to star in the world-famous ads by the charity as it was well aware of her long-time dedication to ensuring the protection of animals. "It's not tacky at all; it's very tastefully done. You can't really see anything, but it still gets the message across, which is the most important thing. "My parents weren't overly delighted when they heard about the nudity, but they know how important the cause is to me and I know once they see the pictures they will be happy." Speaking to the Herald, the Killiney native said: "I'm thrilled to be joining the incredible group of women who have done this in the past. "The head of PETA Ireland, John Carmody, is also the head of animal right's group ARAN, with whom I've done loads of work in the past, so he approached me because he thought I'd be perfect for the job," Suzanne explained. "I approached ARAN first a long time ago about campaigning against a field hunt in Canada, and from there I sort of became their celebrity spokesperson. "It's incredibly exciting because this is the first time this PETA campaign has ever been done here," she said. "We shot the campaign about two months ago, so hopefully it will be on billboards, newspapers and magazines nationwide by the end of the summer. "I'm delighted with the picture selected and I got to hand pick the photographer, so I chose a close friend who I knew I'd be really comfortable with," Suzanne continued. "PETA's response to the picture has been fantastic; they thought it was stunning." Describing the campaign, Suzanne said: "There is a lot of nakedness, but with well-placed arms and legs. It's very glamorous, very sexy and very natural."
