Edinburgh Film Fest185 jours il y a

So went to the film festivel this week! It was ace. We could only afford four tickets but I think they were the best of the bunch.

The first film we saw we got in later than we would have liked (our own fault for going to lunch and Jimmy Chungs) and only managed to get seats near a tall guy with an even larger head. Blocking the subtitles which we needed with an Indian Film. Although I couldn't see the subtitles all that well, and needed the loo from the moment the movie started, it was a good film and I even undestood it.

The second film we saw we liked even better. It was "High Life" and the Director/Producer was there. At the beginning he told an odd joke/real life story about an airport security incedent with his bag (nothing to do with the film but still funny.) We then watched the film which I thought was funny and shocking at the same time. After it finished there was question and answer time with the Director which was good. I liked to get to know the producer/director of a film and to understand why things happened.

The third film (alson Indian) was good. One of the stars (now very famouse in India I think) came and talked about the film and the director and how much she enjoyed working on the film. I even managed to sit in the front row meaning I could see everything. This one was funny at points. Always good to laugh I think.

The fourth and final film we were overly early so were standing about in the Film Fest line at the cinema for about 30 minutes and we managed to get ace seats. Again this was a funny film with some good actors in it that I knew of, including Mr Matrix himself Keanu Reeves. Half naked and still cute even with a tatoo of (possibly mary - not sure) on his chest which didn't look as good. But powerfull and funny. We could have voted for it to win the audience award at the end of the fest but we forgot. Typical.

All in all the fest was ace and I would go back again and again. Loved the atmosphere of it all.
