Now THIS is the kind of adventure any slef-respecting rock band should
be having!!! We just spent a WILD night in Cheyenne, Wisconsin—err,
Wyominig? Sometimes it's hard to remember, those W states lol--at a
bowling alley! seriously! A bowling alley!! Hey too bad I blew my
Lebowski bowling metaphor a few posts ago, am I right?!? Hahhahaha
seriously. It wasn't that much like Lebowski in real life
though….even though our host turned out to be quite a character
himself. The guys were all super super excited up bc he was
apparently a former rock hero of theirs—I don't know this band that he
was in, Arkstormer, but I guess they were pretty amazing. I know that
as a rock manager I should have an encyclopedic knowledge of ALL rock
bands, but that's what Wikipedia is for. And also I think the gang was
listening to them when I was in my really intense Britpop phase.
Hahahahhaha I'm just kidding!! I never listend to Britpop. Unless you
count Britney Spears in that category….which would kind of make sense.

Anyway, on top of the adventure they played a really sweet show.
Farrah really can tear it up on the bass…though of course the band
looked kind of uneven without Caleb there looking hot in the
background. And Shirlz seemed a little lonley. :-( But like I said
before…we just have to let him do what he needs to do……and hope hope
hope that he makes it back to us. There's still no word from him,
but…he's got a good sense of direction…right?? Right?

And, in this blog, this public forum, I have to say one more
thing—Heather kind of blew my mind a little bit while we were at Sam
Amigo'S . I love to see people defending the little guy—hahaha um I
don't mean that in a bad way Paul—and I gotta give her props for
standing up to our friend Sam when he got a little frisky!! Maybe I've
been less than fair to our Fair Lady Heather in the past but I'll say
it now: when she used her lightning fists against Sam, it was
awesome. Until she started hyperventilating and Paul had to read her
her favorite parts of "The Bridges of Madison County" to calm her
down. But we've all got our weaknesses I guess!!!

I'm feeling good, guys. I think Salt Lake holds really good things
for us and will be an energizing stop before we blaze our trail into
the ocean and onto TV. Write more next week!!!
