	Less Than A Month To Go!!!	142 jours il y a
	The big day is getting closer. Before you know it it'll be Text/Email/Envelope Day. It's weird how we get all superstitious when we're under pressure. I always went to bed in my lucky pyjamas the night before - I don't know why I thought they were lucky as the only memorable thing that every happened while I was wearing them was getting locked out of the house in the middle of winter. But that's another story. I always had hot choc before going to bed, then I'd lie awake until about 6.30. I got up at 7 to wait for the postie (in my day we didn't have MySQA). So by the time he finally arrived I'd fallen asleep on the couch. The thing is, it always struck me that the results assume a huge importance over the summer, but are a bit of an anticlimax on the day. As soon as you know yours, you immediately move into What Now? mode. Good or bad, they were never as important as the choices they opened up. Results day isn't so much the end of a story as the end of a chapter. The other thing that always struck me was that surprises didn't often happen. You could tell which of your friends had put the work in, and which had spent rather too much time enjoying themselves. Generally, the hard workers got what they wanted, and the others either scraped by or just missed out. And yet every single one slept like a 5 year old on Xmas eve - i.e. they didn't. So good luck everyone. I'm sure you'll still go through the same agonies that candidates have always gone through. And in the end, you'll get your results and you'll move on to the next stage. At least you've got MySQA to take some of the edge off things on the morning itself. You have signed up, haven't you? And you have remembered to activate your account? SAM

	I am hoping to pass my 2 exams done under SQA the other 1 i done i found out before the summer that i passed.

	i think the exams should be moved to January and February because i fell all over the summer u worrie if ur going to get what u want are u going to get into uni are u going to have to move courses from higher to int 2 so thats why i think it shuld be moved to January into the middle of February and get Your results the start of summer or just before the schools break up so your teachers can get u moved up a class or down a class so its all sorted for comeing bk after summer to start a fresh sensing of hard work to get that grade u want next year there is advantage's and disadvantage's to this

	Am I the only one or does everyone else not have much sleep the night before. It's evil we have to wait so long cause I get nightmares of having fails and everything I've had these since i got my first certificate in August 2005 Lol Paul

	no man ur not the only one lol i was talking to a guy at my job and hes worked in hotels all his life and he said to me "you know i failed all my exams and look where i am now" and i was jst freaking out beyond belief lol

	This is the first time for me, (Standard Grade), so I don't know if I will sleep or not. I am nervous though, I just want it to be over. I keep thinking over the questions and finding silly mistakes I made. This is how sad I am.. I even took one of the exam papers home and added up how many marks I think I got. I am even more worried now because it is bang on the mark for a 1! I was marking off every tiny possible chance there was for getting it wrong, so I have probably underestimated and it will be fine. But then again, there could be questions I thought were right that were wrong!! Oh well, I've done my best and just have to wait until August 5th. I signed up on MySqa but I have now decided not to read the email or text. I would rather rip open the envelope and see it on paper, it's more exciting than looking at a text or e-mail! I am going to open the envelope and take the paper out slowly so I can see one grade at a time!! Anyway GOOD LUCK to everyone for results day! xx

	Yeah Sam but even if you do put in the work you can still fail an exam I have failed 2 in the past and I am not ashamed to admit it, it's not the end of the world a fail lol. I failed Intermediate 1 Maths in my fourth year at school but resat it the following year and got a B I failed Higher Philosophy last year although I was sure I had done well on it, I was gutted but I still got into uni GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!!

	i wanted to do Higher Philosophy and higher poltics but they dont do it at my school paul i take it u did int 2 english in 6th year if ur doing higher at the place u r doing it at? im doing int 2 english in 5th year and i dnt think all do higher english in 6th years as i dnt think i will pass it ive probaly failed int1 this year but i did standard grade in 3rd year and got a 3 and ur ment to do int 2 when u get a 3 and 4,5,6,7 i for int 1 sooo i sat the wrong course sooo this year i had to do int 2 enlgish when i should of done it last year and sat higher in5th year but naw oooo well mabie next year all sit higher

	Yeah I done Int2 English in 5th year and got a C then done it again in 6th year and got an A. I was like that has 2 be someone else's result lol I went to college this year to do HNC Music and Higher English. College is way better at teaching English than school teachers are at it if you get me. Now that I done the HNC in Music, The University of Aberdeen saw my potential with the HNC and gave me an Unconditional. In september I am off to The University of Aberdeen to study Music Teaching. I knew the higher philosophy course off by heart it's just that type of exam set my nerves on alert it's like 80 marks for 1 question and stuff but was good fun.

	God im so nervous about getting my results!! But in the back of my mind I kind of know which exams I have failed and passed. Its just the wait haha. I find MySqa gr8 it just lets uno wats happening in the world of exams in a relaxed and friendly way, itz kwl.
