With a short Choreography. Suitable for those with no dance experience and anybody wishing to revisit the basics BELLYDANCE FOR IMPROVERS: Wednesday Nights from 7.30-9.30 FROM WED 23rd SEPT A two hour intensive. With a focus on drills and isolations then choreography and research through film and/or revisiting old choreographys in the second half. Suitable for anyone who has completed a course in Bellydance. AN INTRODUCTION TO BOLLYWOOD DANCE: Monday and Tuesday Nights 7-8p.m. FROM SEPT 21st & 22nd A lively and upbeat class. Learn to Dance like a Bollywood Superstar. Choreographys set to popular Hindi Music. Class is open to Men and Women.. I will also be teaching at 21 Zentury Health, The Beautiful new Studio in the Aquarium Building on Bray Seafront. The studio has views of Bray Head and the Sea. BOLLYWOOD FOR CHILDREN: Saturday 2-3pm A lively and upbeat dance class that fuses Bollywood dance, Bhangra and Hip Hop. for children age 6 up. BOLLYWOOD WORKSHOPS: For those of you who cant make it all the way to Bray for the courses or cant commit time wise I will be teaching monthly Bollywood workshops in the Nicholas of Myra Parish Hall. The first of these will be on Sunday the 27th of Sept. The two hour workshop costs €20. For bookings contact 0857334377 INDIAN THEMED DANCE WORKSHOPS AT PEACE DAY CELEBRATION, CHARLEVILLE CASTLE, TULLAMORE 11-12:30pmThe Bollywood Love Story with Starfire Dancers 12:30-2pm Learn 2 traditional dances of Rajasthan with Masati 2:30-4pm Bhangra Workshop with Starfire Dancers 6-7pm Hafla Dance Performances 7pm - onwards PeaceZone acts - bbq area available out back, cooking facilities outside also to be provided -communal food plan encouraged (bring your own drink and food - but also the idea can be brought forward by participants on site to contribute a few quid towards a communal dinner - a practice for co-operation and unity - but this would be optional.) this day is focused on attracting PeaceZone members and to get them involved with Peace Discussions, in which the dance workshops are a supplement. Each person interested in attending should have the interest in issues surrounding 'Daring to Think Peace' or will not mind filling in a PeaceZone membership form (its the same as a Castle membership form in terms of insurance cover aswell) upon entry. Its a a crazy, funky, sexy & nasty fusion Burlesque and Electro.
