HMTV Canada Tina: 1. Hi Nastasya How are you doing? Nastasya: Thanks! I'm just fine. I'm really glad, that you decided to interview me. HMTV Canada Tina: 2. Are you working on any new songs currently? Nastasya: Yeah! The work over my 1st album is in progress. I've just recorded a new song 2 weeks ago! It's song - ballade "Wake Up me". I like this song. Probably it not modestly, but truth, this song lives in my heart. HMTV Canada Tina: 3. What age did you start your music career and where did you study? Nastasya: As daddy has told to me, I sang, when I could not speak yet. I never visited a professional musical school... In my primary school I even tried to compose some songs. But I've started singing seriously 2 years ago, when has met Askura_Alexander. I started to attend piano classes. HMTV Canada Tina: 4. Was there a special person in your life that encouraged and inspired you to pursue you singing? Nastasya: Occasionally it was my dad. He encouraged me to start singing. I think, he will support me and further. Askura_Alexander was the first who has told to me: "You will be a good singer". And now I start to realize his words seriously. HMTV Canada Tina: 5. Did you play any musical instruments? Nastasya: Yeap ... A piano! HMTV Canada Tina: 6. What do you consider your musical influences to be? Nastasya: We are often influenced by sentiment. I do not know. But I feel need for music. I live with the constant desire to sing for people. Probably some Source sends me this fine desire. And also, great world singers influence my creativity. HMTV Canada Tina: 7. Who writes your songs? Nastasya: Well! I was really lucky to meet Alex Shkuratov, who is my musical producer. And he is the one, who writes most of the songs! HMTV Canada Tina: 8. Are you currently attending College or University? Nastasya: Yes. I'm studding the international department of the Finance Academy under the government of Russian federation! HMTV Canada Tina: 9. What are you majoring in for Career Goals? Nastasya: At my age it is very difficult to answer your question. The life frequently presents the surprises. I hope, that the destiny will be favourable to me.... In this case I shall come to you to Canada with my live performance. HMTV Canada Tina: 10. Do you have any spiritual influences in your music? Nastasya: Yes, the space of music is filled by spiritual energys. And I have happiness to be in this spiritual space of music. HMTV Canada Tina: 11. Are you working on any Demo or Full Length CD's currently? Nastasya: Well, at present we create with Askura_Alexander my first solo album in my life. HMTV Canada Tina: 12. What is your motivation for making music? Nastasya: I like it! I want to bring happiness to other people with the help of my music! HMTV Canada Tina: 13. Do you have certain principles or use certain styles when composing your sounds? Nastasya: If you speak about my vocal style, I sing as prompts me heart, my feelings and style of songs. I do not want to imitate somebody, using another's stylistics. HMTV Canada Tina: 14. Do you have any favourite local bands or artists? Nastasya: No, local bands or artists are not interesting for me. In Russia there are talented musicians, but their way is very thorny. HMTV Canada Tina: 15. Is there any group composer style or movement which has a lasting effect for inspiration in your music making - song writing process? Nastasya: I cannot list all. In the world many interesting musicians, groups, singers who I like. They form world culture and I analyse this Process. HMTV Canada Tina: 16. Which music site is your favourite for promoting your music? Nastasya: My favourite it's Myspace.com and Hollywood Music TV Canada. I like Last Fm Radio, Discover stars, The Bit Fm Radio, VM Radio, Bebo, Streetmusiq, etc. I am very grateful to you, Hollywood Music TV Canada, that you help young Artists like me, to be heard in this world. HMTV Canada Tina: 17. Any plans for making a video in 2008? Nastasya: Nastasya: Yes in the nearest future i am going to make video on "Lazy-crazy"! I think this video and this song will be very succesful. HMTV Canada Tina: 18. What do you think of the music industry today and what is the music scene like in Russia? Nastasya: If you talk about world music industry today, it's the very qualitative production! I see how appear new fine Artists on the Top! It pleases me. I like the big live performances on the big Stadiums in Moscow. HMTV Canada Tina: 19. What are your goals and hopes for the future? Nastasya: I want to sing about Love in the World, where is not wars, lies and hypocrisy. HMTV Canada Tina: 20. Before we close our interview do you have anyone you would like to acknowledge or any last words? Nastasya: Thanks Tina, that you give me such possibility to say to all my friends: I love You!
