We thought it was high time he took centre stage, and what better time than to celebrate the releases of his second full length album, “Secret Sounds”, on the fabulous BBE. Since the release of his Million Dollar Orchestra album, Al Kent has been busy recording and remixing for DJ History, Kat Records, Still Music, Million Dollar Disco, and has just put the finishing touches to “Disco Love”, a compilation of rare disco for BBE to be released next year. He’s been DJing a lot, with the highlight of the year no doubt being his headlining set at the Southport Weekender, playing his usual deep disco selection to 2000 people! BBE have been around for almost two decades, releasing quality music from artists like Roy Ayers, Masters at Work, Keb Darge, Bugz In The Attic, Dimitri From Paris... the list goes on and on...
