 Hi guysSome small updates today so you can remove a background that you don't like if you added one. I am chasing the issue affecting so many people where it doesn't update the profiles. I know it's super frustrating and we are still working on it. The reason it's difficult to fix is: 1. The app works for the majority of users. There doesn't seem to be a single reason why it fails for some people. 2. There are several systems being connected together to pull the information about your song from your PC via last.fm scrobbling systems, via the app and then to your Bebo profile. If any one of these doesn't work then the whole chain breaks. I'm going to add a way you can test to see where the problem is in the next update - that way we'll be a bit clearer about which bit in the chain is not working. Thanks Toby | |||

 Nice to see an update.The tester sounds like a good idea, the majority of users have it working? Ahh that frustrates me  The fact that there shouldnt be a single reason why the app isnt working for some is kinda worrying... Also my last.fm has been perfect for nearly 2 years... So its basically from that account to the bebo application thats the problem. Its like the bebo app is syncing out when it tries to get updated info from last.fm... I thought about the time zones on the last fm accounts but ive tried them all. Renaming the user for the bebo app to someone else then back to mine got no joy... Ive tried removing it entirely (from my account within the bebo profile page) and adding it again, but it seems to just add with the exact same statistics as before i added it (the same amount of tracks scrobbled (just stuck)) so removing the app on bebo doesn't actually wipe out the stored data... so therefore stores the bug... I duno. I need that tester, thats for sure lol... | ||||

| I haven't seen anyone it works for, but then again I haven't seen that many people that are using it. Good to know it's still being worked on though. Keep up the good work guys. | ||||

 Would it not be simpler to embed one of the flash widgets Last fm generates on its site rather than creating a whole new Bebo application that doesn't work? | ||||

There doesn't seem to be a single reason why it fails for some people.where are these users you speak of? are there magic pixies that live in a world filled with good times and gummy bears scrobbling away and laughing at us? every comment i see says "doesnt work"! i think its a cop out that you would lie like that. why cant we embed it? to be honest i would rather that cause the widgets look pretty damn shexy compared the monsterous thing thats stuck on my page at the moment. | ||||

 We, the users should also colaberate to see if theres a similar trend for the people who it ISNT working for so ill give whatever info you need if you ask, dont know what you might need. Anyway theres not much use in us all complaining might aswel do what we can to help fix it. Im running windows vista ultimate, i havent got last fm installed just the plugin for windows media player 11, my last.fm user name is -DuMbGuM- , im using Firefox... emm as i said dunno what else might might help.. | ||||

| You can't just check comments to see how many people it's working for, asshats. Think about it, why would anyone come on here and post "Yayayayah my LastFM app is working!". The only reason you'd come here is if it isn't working. Hardly an even sample. | ||||

 i also used the facebook method and after what fels like 2 months my tracks are now displaying on my page, who'd a thought eh, bebo needs facebook to work... | ||||
