	Özgür Can was born in Stockholm, Sweden in 1982 and grew up in a family where music was present at all times. Ever since then, Özgür's life has evolved around his love for beats, tones and grooves of all shapes and sizes. Over the last 5 years, Özgür Can's music has been continuously receiving worldwide praise from all areas of the dance music scene. Since 2003, his unique talents have seen him transform overnight from a wonderkid hailed as the next big thing to one of dance music's most influential figures. Hailed by everyone from Sasha to Armin Van Buuren, James Holden to Tiesto, Hernan Cattaneo to Paul Van Dyk, Gabriel & Dresden to Adam Beyer, artists from every corner of electronic music have incorporated Özgür's genre-breaking sound. His wide musical background is clearly reflected in his current sound; he has an open mind and is not afraid to cross boundaries and take new paths.
