	So the short journey from Southampton to Brighton was over. After being tortured by passing various Football fields complete with proper goals and nets, the seaside appeared. We checked our bags into the Labyrinth of a hotel and bounced over to the Pier for some amusements. After losing a veritable fortune on the Donkey Derby, decided not to get anymore 10p's from the sour faced yet strangely attractive 'Arcade bird' We eventually found the venue. Dressed in a beautiful shade of beige. Devoid of signs, posters and even windows.… god knows how anyone was going to find it. We sound checked and proceeded to choke down some of the driest chips known to mankind. The line-up of the bands was also a strange one. One band that had more in common with Motley Crue and Guns 'n' Roses than We ever have/will. The other band decided to turn up with 'Lucy Hitler' as a manager and a full van of flightcases of invisible equipment. Wasn't exactly the busiest of shows on the tour so far, but entertaining all the same. We then made our way to a well known chain of southern hemisphere bars in search of a cheap pint. We noticed a suspicious group of tutu wearing young ladies who we decided were employed by the bar to 'entertain' the drinkers… that was until we spotted their friends… After being turned down entry to a bar for not having I.D. to prove we were YOUNG enough to get in…. honestly…. We decided to retire to the hotel bar, were Sam proceeded to lose his passport behind the lav while having a sit down visit. So it's on to the Water Rats in Kings Cross. See you all there… Ben
