	Hi all. Josh here, This is my first attempt at a blog so if i babbel on and dont make sence much well thats just me!!!!! On october the 4th we ventured out to East melbourne to Gracenote studios to record Partner in crime. Our First profeshionaly recorded song, and man it sound fucking good!!!!!! We all cant wait to get back there and record some more!!! Well it was a real fun day had by all. Me and Kris rocked up at around 10am and started un-packing and settung up the drums, steve and peter arrive not long after with the much needed extra symbols!!!! we started recording with Kris on the drums and pete in the booth playing along to Kris through some headphones. all was going really well till the last take when Kris broke a drum stick but he kepted on playing and recorded the best drum track wich is the one used on the song!!!!!! After we packed up the drums we bought the bass in to start recording. Quinn (producer/mixer extrodinear!!) got out a Filter for the bass wich really cleaned up the sound!!!! and a big thanks to Quinn for showing me how to set my amp proplery!!!!! While i was recording over and over and over cuase im a prefectonist and keped fucking it up but we got there in the end while steve was setting up his amp for recording me and Quinn had a quick jam on somr Sublime songs!!!! Kick arse i say!!!! We found out that when we record off steves amp, wjhen the out put is coming out of the amp it makes a horrible crackling noise in the recording so the amp got wheeled into the booth and recoprded it from in there with a mic.after we sorted out the solo (99% Greesy 80's solo free) steve was all done!!! Now its time for pete to do the rythem gutair and that went smoothley!!Pete was using steves acoustic madden to record on. I think at about that time pete went on a Beer run!!! Saving his voice pete refrained from drinknig so while he was recording vocals but we all persuaded pete to have a beer cause he sings better (sometimes) then came the lenghty harmonies that sound great!!!!!! And that was that!!! we all packed up and went home. We asre all itching to get back in there and recoord some more but untill the youl just have to settel for the songs i record in petes garage!!!!
