 Darwin has gone the way of the Dodo! Darwin started as a fun experiment but unfortunately never moved much beyond that, partly because I was unable to invest enough time in it, and may be because it just wasn't quite right. The plan was to keep it going as long as there was good support for it, but it seemed to wane as it grew. I still have a lot of new ideas for it to make it a lot better, but they rely on other things being added to Bebo first, so unlike the Dodo, it may make a comeback at a later date! Thanks to everyone who supported it and sorry for the unceremonious demise of it. We still love you! Michael Full blog from David O'Keeffe, tomorrow. | |||

 I signed up from day one and was possibly one of the first to do so....It got boring once I got to level 10 so I left. The "umph" was gone from it early on. | ||||

 im with you alan! i also one of the very first darwinians alongside alot of others, i mean at one point if you never casted your votes, you got the boot, when the new rules came in if you didnt acst your votes you got sent down two levels, bit unfair on the others taht actually wanted to play the game, the original darwinians, as it should be!gonna miss it though, well i dont regret quitting, but do miss the old peeps, and they all know who they are x x x | ||||

| Ya it got to the stage where there was so many fake profiles joining in the earlier stages... and people just weren't participating. It was fun in the beginning. | ||||

 original darwiner here!!got kicked out in level 10 i think maybe it had something to do with the under 18s getting kicked out.. i mean we actually bothered to do challenges, most of us. perhaps it could be lowered to 16  the game kinda died out with the fake profiles and vote swapping... oh and the rule changes.. random circles dudes!!!! | ||||

Well, the question would be, if the rules were edited, to suit younger people, more activity etc., would people get more involved and join again? | ||||
