Describing himself as "a transgendered person raised by Albertan Evangelists", his warm and colourful musical storytelling has seen him share a stage with everyone from Emmylou Harris and The Be Good Tanyas to Ani Difranco and Natalie Merchant. He's been described as "one of the most genuinely gifted and original songwriters to come out of the country genre for a long time."
