 Most of you might think I'm talking about my kids Mike & Tessa. As much as it is true that they are getting big.....I'm really talking about my fishies! When we got 19 little buggers in early July, they were 4 inches long. They are now 8-10 inches long. People that spend $100 or more just to have a large fish are simply not patient or need instant gratification. This time next year, they should be close to 2 feet long. Did you know that koi fish can live up over 200 years given the right conditions. Damn, that would be a big fish if they kept growing and growing. I think they little buggers will outlive me, and that's okay, cuz I have many more years to enjoy them...... |
