In a statement taken from his website - It is with deepest regret that we have to announce that one of our dearest Friends and brightest talents, Barry Connell, has sadly passed away. Our thoughts are with his fiancé Amanda and family An extended statement will be released from PFA/Goodgreef shortly If you do know Amanda or Barry’ family please respect their privacy and do not disturb them at this time. We thank you for your understanding in this difficult matter. All our thoughts Goodgreef and PFA team stv clubs would like to express their sadness at the loss of one of Scotland brightest young DJs. Barry will always hold a special place with myself and everyone at stv clubs as he was the very first DJ interviewed for the site when the clubs section launched last year. Barry was without doubt one of the nicest, most genuine guys I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Scotland has defiantly lost one of its brightest stars, however I'm sure Barry's memory will continue to shine. Our thoughts go out to his fiancé Amanda, his family, everyone at GoodGreef, Inside Out and PFA at this difficult time. RIP BARRY xxxxx
