Tour Time.248 weeks ago
 
Well, it's got to that part of August once more, where the heavens open up, letting the the rain to start falling continuously.. And thus, us Belper Meadow Boys pack up the flip flops, cricket gear and Hawaiian shirts to go terrorise a specific part of the UK. After the major success in Newquay, we have decided to about turn, check our compassess, and head the other way to the northern reaches that is Whitley Bay!Sadly though, with slightly less numbers.. Around plus 50 becoming just 13 loyal patrons.. (Everyone's working. Yeah. Whatever.)

I'm doing the usual night before pack up, though I may try for longer than the 15 minutes sleep I managed last time pre tour.. The 6am meet really killed me there.. =| Only half 8 this time round, with the prospect of no cricket due to this wonderous weather.. And a grumpy Broom who will have had even less sleep than myself..

Guttingly for me, I have to travel with the Pidgeon that is Ben Mills.. Who's droning tones may drive myself, or my driver Dave 'still on bail' Nightingale, to pidgycide.But shotgun is called, so I should be alright, especially if I get to bed sometime soon..
