 Hey, Bebo'ers!Got some huge news to share with you all today. As many of you may recall, Bebo was one of the first social networks to put out a spiffy little iPhone app. Sadly, the app disappeared earlier this year, a casualty of the transition from AOL. But today we're announcing that very shortly you'll be able to get your hands on a brand new Bebo Mobile App! Developed from scratch for iPhone and iPod Touch, and compatible with iPad, the Bebo Mobile App was built to make it easier, faster, and more fun to do the things you do on Bebo everyday -- wherever you are. Here's a few sneak peeks to whet your appetite: http://blog.bebo.com/?p=348 ! You'll see the app's home page and notice that you can change your status right from there. You'll be able to keep up with your friends' posts and comment with ease. You'll check out your notifications, photos and more -- all on the go. But perhaps the coolest new feature is our mobile photo uploader. Not only can you take a picture and add it straight to one of your portfolios, and not only can you upload photos from your iPhone photo library -- but you can customize those photos right on your iPhone! Add stickers (like glasses, hats or cuddly animals), jot text straight on the photo, or draw your thoughts with your finger. We've been having a blast with this here at Bebo HQ! Pretty cool, huh? And best of all, we're launching it on December 24th as an early Christmas present to all our users. So check back here on Christmas Eve for all the details! But wait... We're doing it again! Our Summer of Bebo sweepstakes was such a hit that we convinced the powers-that-be to let us run one more contest before 2012. Announcing the 25 Days of Bebo Sweepstakes!  Hi Afx,Figures in the millions still log in on a daily basis to use bebo. Facebook, Myspace etc. may not suit everyone, those people may prefair to use bebo or other networks. So with social networks really its the best of all worlds, people have a choice of the social network they prefair.  | ||||

 Hi AFX,Sebastian is right, Bebo still has millions of users (in fact, it has more users than MySpace). Alexa is incorrect, Alexa is kept alive by people who install the toolbar and then browse the web with it enabled. Bebo is aimed at the younger generation, so therefore most of them are not going to be allowed to install things such as toolbars on their/their parents computers. Facebook is aimed at older people, who are more likely to have Alexa installed. In fact, there's a SN site that gets more page views than Facebook, but again it's aimed at the younger generation so this isn't reflected in Alexa. | ||||

| Hi Afx, Thanks for the comment reply, the majority of bebo users are in North and south of Ireland, acoss the UK, New zealand and other neighbouring countries, these users will also make use of the mobile service available to them at anytime. They can also login and connect with facebook at the same time using bebo. Hope that helps anything you're not sure about. Merry Christmas.  | ||||

 We would like to inform our customers that we have no plans to launch Bebo Messaging. We are currently setting up a messaging sevice with Facebook and already have Twitter Messaging available. To use Bebo Mobile on your Vodafone Handset the only way is through your phones web browser or Safari on your iPhone by going to m.bebo.com. Thanks for choosing Vodafone and Happy Christmas. | ||||

| For the people who are saying that they don't have the app yet, what devices are you using? I believe it is only available for the iPhone 4S (before you complain, this is Apples decision not Bebos) so therefore iPhone 3G customers and iTouch customers can't download it! Blame apple for not allowing the older devices to use iOS5! | ||||

 I'm sooooo keen to lead a bebo revolution!! Facebook's timeline feature is dividing alot of people and I think it's the perfect opportunity to get people back on to bebo which is way more customisable and much more fun!! We just need an awesome iphone app!If you build it, they will come!!! LONG LIVE BEBO :0) | ||||
