	Hello all; My apologies that my first blog post be one of sadness. Recent notes from readers, (thank you Sherry, Pam and Lois), prompted me to post after so long a dry-spell. My apologies for that. Readers wrote wondering where I'd been, why so long since I've written and I have been remiss. This summer has been an emotional one. Especially this past week. I lost my father, very unexpectantly and with much pain. It's been difficult to move forth. I take solace that he had nearly sixty strong and happy years before he was called to a greater Home. And in the only way I really know how, I've used words to express things. http://www.kaceyhammell.com/inmemori... Since I began writing, Daddy was one of my biggest supporters. I could never thank him enough for that. I promise to post more often Remember to always hold those you love close. Kacey

	Kacey, I just wanted to tell you how sorry I was to hear about your father. I hope you're healing with each passing day and remembering the good times. The poem you wrote to your father was beautiful, and every ounce of love you have for him shows through those words.
