 This last youth forum day was held at Riseholme College on the 8th July 2008. It was a huge success with everyone meeting new people as there was a great turn out with new faces. The day started off with ice-breaker games such as one lie and two truths, then followed by discussions on the little lincs link, future events, the Wales trip, the campout and development and funding. After everyone had finished discussing these topics the group was rather hungry and we enjoyed a pizza picnic outside by the lake. Later on we had a jam-packed afternoon were we played a game of rounder’s (which was not called off due to bad light), after we played a game of hide-and-seek, which was followed by a lazy afternoon relaxing and playing more games, for example the lemonade game, malteser pick up and manhunt! This day was thoroughly enjoyed by all, and if you haven’t made it to a youth forum day, then why not? |
