 On Sunday 15th April the junior members of the county were invited to Grantham YFC to have a go on their climbing wall. Quite a lot of people turned up, though most were from Grantham anyway, but it was a reasonable turn out. The day was thoroughly enjoyed by all, even Alice Smithson who seemed to spend a lot of time clutching to the wall at about 2 feet up, screaming. As well as the climbing wall we played badminton, (or attempted to play badminton), had some very violent games of air hockey, and had a go with those weird pattern bead things that you iron (whatever they’re called). It’s just a pity that there weren’t many people that didn’t go to Grantham or Market Rasen, because you’re all missing out. So it was yet another reason for anybody who hasn’t decided to come to the Youth Forum yet to do so. |
