 Today I came to a wonderful realization, no it wasn't 'The Secret'-- watched that video weeks ago and yes it did change my life.. but no, today i discovered my place and it came as no surprise really. The sea. I think I was more surprised at the fact that it hadn't dawned on me before. No matter what mood I am in, even a short visit to the sea and I am calm. Her smell, her sound, the sky touching water, the wind on my face, the lights dancing over waves.. all of it.. it just covers me and suddenly I am inspired to write. I don't know if it is common to pacific islanders but i certainly connect with mother sea as much as I do with mother moon and that is a wonderful wonderful realization. let the writing begin.. or continue.. or spiral to and from that place where creativity is born.. | |||
