	Due to family commitments, we are sad to announce the departure of Chris from the band. We've had a fantastic two and a half years with him at the bass-helm and will be very sad to see him go. He'll nevertheless remain a big part of the whole Alexis Blue family. When we first sat down and discussed what we were going to do once he had left. Over 3 years of being in close proximity to 2 other gentlemen means your sense of humour and general attitude becomes very refined, and as such - the new recruit had to be someone who 'got' the band. Then it hit us... Chris joined to replace Tom 'Carron' McCarron, who had left the country to get himself a degree in Psychology. How long does it take to get a degree? 2 and a half years! We got on the blower to him, and the rest is (will hopefully be?) history. The first chance you'll get to see the new look Alexis Blue lineup perform will be on August bank holiday weekend, with gigs in Blackburn (28th) and Liverpool's Mathew St Festival (31st, FREE). So pop along to see the beginnings of a new blue era. We're off to do a couple of photoshoots, tara Andeh, Mark, Paul + Carron Alexis Blue
