Metro Screen’s Open DayDiscover why Metro Screen is more than just a film school. Saturday June 16th 10am – 4pm Free and open to the public No bookings necessary Workshops in camera operation and editing, seminars, screenings, equipment demonstrations and industry markets. Plus a debate on the future of the film industry with guest speakers. Pick and choose from the various activities running all day: ∑ Final Cut Pro and post production workshops ∑ HD camera and cinematography workshops ∑ Seminars on the services and benefits that set Metro Screen apart from similar schools and rental stores ∑ Screening showcase from the more than 35 films produced annually ∑ Equipment demonstrations and tours ∑ Markets consisting of film, TV and screen industry representatives Who is Metro Screen? Training: Short courses and full time study in film, video, TV and portable content at our offices in Paddington. We also run a youth unit and regional unit. Equipment: Range of HD equipment, dubbing, new media services, fully equipped studios and multiple editing suites. Production support: $45,000 for annual subsidies, script and producing advice, monthly meetings to encourage collaboration and career development and professionals on hand to answer your questions.
