This year a different ball will be thrown in Thomond Park when Limerick’s most glamorous and elegant annual charity and social event, The Saffron Ball, will be held at the newly built Thomond Park on Saturday 18th October 2008. It will be the first non-rubgy event to be held in the new venue and with over half the available tables already sold, it won’t be long before it is completely sold out! Guests will be the first at a charity ball in the new Thomond Park enjoying wonderful food, wine, “Most Glamorous Lady” prize, raffle, auction, celebrity MC and celebrity after-dinner speaker. The Saffron Ball 2008 is in aid of CARI with proceeds going directly towards developing their new child therapy house on the Ennis Road, Limerick and funding their associated services.
