	"Remember 18 Wheeler? No? Never mind, they've split up now and lead singer* Steve's busy with Astro Naughty, crafting jolly jangly guitar pop with melodies, high harmonies and slightly overloaded guitar solos. If that sounds a bit like the Wheeler's former labelmates Teenage Fanclub, wait till you hear the music - but for those awaiting a new album from Norman Blake and chums, Astro Naughty are a tasty hors d'oeuvres. 'Songbird' sums up the band from title to chrous ('All I ever asked of you was let the songbird fly'), while 'She Said' recovers from an almost disastrously overworded first line to climax in a chorus with more la's than Liverpool and a guitar solo straight out of Norman's knapsack.
