	"What can you say about this band that hasn't already been said before? References to Teenage Fanclub come all too easy when you listen to the happy-go-lucky jingle jangle pop sounds that Scottish band Astro Naughty perform. Rising from the ashes of 18 Wheeler, Astro Naughty are a refreshing change from all the overpowered rock/dance crossover bands that trade under the "nu-metal" tag these days. Astro Naughty have a CV most bands would kill for. Lead singer Steve spent 4 years with 18 Wheeler (who were signed to Creation) touring the UK, Europe and the Far East whilst drummer Gordon, bassist Dougie and lead guitarist Scott previously played together in The All Stars and Starsky. Songbird is a prime example of the Glasgow sound most commonly associated with The Fannies "Bandwagonesque" phase, if only The Fannies had more "balls". From the very opening moment, you are convinced that you are going to like this band: crisp guitars, tight harmonies and a fucking catchy melody. Kicking off with a Zeppelin influenced riff, She Said powers into more excellent songmastery. The vocals, as always, are strong and clear. A fine, fine band with quality songs worthy of endless airplay." bulaka, Webzine
