	MY BOOK IDEA By Paul Dundee Copyright Paul Dundee 2008 Chapter One I’m gonna write a book! How hard can it be? You just come up with an idea, write it down and Bob’s your aunties’ husband. You just come up with an idea… just come up with an idea…come up with an idea…up with an idea…with an idea… an idea…idea? I’m gonna make a cup of tea; I know I can do that! I’ll be back in 5 mins! 3 days later… Right! An idea… what can I write about? Whatever it is, it has to be entertaining, gripping, worthy of its place in literary history… a best seller… I just need a subject, a topic, a ground breaking original idea… there it is again, that bloody word that seems to haunt me whenever I’m getting somewhere, up it pops to laugh in my face…idea. It’s quite ironic, the word used most in this new masterpiece, eleven uses so far of the word idea, twelve now, and I still don’t have a single one! 4 days later… What have I read recently?... Freddie Mercury by peter freestone, all peter freestone did was write down his memories of nights out he’d had with Freddie mercury and Robert’s your mum’s brother, he’s got a best seller, I could do that, just not with the Freddie Mercury bit, but I can write about some of my drunken nights out, well, actually, to be fair people might not be all that interested in my hazy memories of nights out I’ve had with my mates, come to think of it, I wouldn’t be too interested in reading about nights out I’ve had with the degenerates I call friends. Nope. No memories of nights out in my book. What else have I read? 101 things you need to know, and some you don’t… a book full of useless facts, not one of these things you need to know is of any use in the real world, except the one that tells you how to make the perfect paper aeroplane, that was pure genius. Ok, I can compile a list of 101 things you really need to know, for example, FACT:- If you don’t want to waste £5 on something you really don’t need, don’t buy 101 things you need to know, oops! There goes my marketing plan. Nope. No lists of useless information in my book. I’ll put some toast on, that’ll fill the hole and then on with this bestseller! 1 year 6 months and 4 days later… What’s this hiding in this file?... IDEA by Paul Dundee… I remember writing this… God, was I really gonna try to write a book? What was I thinking? Well obviously not a hell of a lot. Hey! I’ve just had a cracking idea, I’ll post this on the internet and let people send in their ideas for how my book should go, then put together all those ideas and get them published as a how to write a book kind of thing, so here goes… Please add your ideas for a book below and the best ones will make it onto my IDEAS FOR A BOOK notepad, then I will use the ideas posted to try to write the next bit of my book… Oh and by the way, TERMS AND CONDITIONS, If you post any ideas on this site please start your post with the words USE THIS PAUL, IT’S YOURS, FREE… That way if I do get this book published I don’t have to go to court to say I owe you guys anything, but I will give 100% credit if I do use any of your ideas….
