	New "Rule" On The Red Scarves	129 jours il y a
	Ok guys so we've been talking to a few people and this new rule that the committee has decided, about getting your red scarf after one year now instead of two, is out of order!! This is because some of us have worked really hard to get our scarves and now people can just get them easier. When you had to be in the show for 2 years it was a reason for you to come back to gain your red scarf to prove you have shown your commitment. Look if you think this new "rule" is a load of rubbish...tell us!! Because if we have enough people against it we can change it as it affects us more than anyone. The committee didnt even vote at the AGM about this matter so why have they done this without telling the people who it affects. Let us know what you think just add a comment to the bottom x thanks

	Yeah its easy 2 get it after a yr but with 2 yrs it takes more effort also why change it now? ??

	I had to do it for 2 yrs to get my red scarf. Its seems like ages but it really isnt so what is the problem with keeping at 2 years?! i feel like my work now was worth nothing because people can just get it after a year. To be honest i think it should have gone up to 3 years not down to 1.

	Tbh i agree with you lot cuz it means that you dont do it because you enjoy it and because you meet up with friends you only have to do it for one year to get your red scarf...gaining your red scarf after one year gives you no real reason to come back again the year after. I dont see why they have changed it now without asking anyone in the cast??

	i might have to use my secret account that no one knows about to comment and say I agree! Gangshow scarfs were something that was really special. I always remember in my first + second year really wanting one and knowing I won't get one until my third year! But then when I got it, it was special. Now the scarf will be no more special then the woggle - which, lets face it, was 'nice' but not special. The ONLY way around this I can imagine, is if they make various special woggles - different styles / colours for the more years you do. (maybe like a bronze, silver, gold or something for 1 year, 3 years and 5 years?). However, I still think you get a woggle for doing the show, and then when commitment is shown, after your third show you get awarded the red scarf.

	or... maybe they could make some scarfs with the logo on the back being embroidered with more of a golden thread which you could then switch your 'bog standard' EGS scarf, for a 'golden' EGS scarf (obviously the material would still be red). Actually... the more I think about this, the more I like it. I kinda like the idea that the whole cast have EGS scarfs as it's a bit like a 'uniform' (for example, after the show when cast are milling around front of house, or for those watching the show who were cast previously). However, I have even stronger feelings that there needs to be something that can be warn on stage to award commitment. Maybe the 'golden' embroidered scarf could be this thing - I can't believe it would cost that much more to produce, and you have to buy the scarf yourself anyway.
